Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 25, 2026
Lap Kings ("the game") is made by Mehmet Akin (Smart Apps Hub). This policy explains what happens to your data when you play.
Data we collect
The game has no accounts and no advertising, and it does not track you across apps or websites. We never collect your name, email, contacts, location or anything else that identifies you.
To find bugs and improve the game, it sends anonymous usage data to PostHog, our analytics provider:
- Game events: for example a race started or finished (track, position, time), an item unlocked, the shop opened, a setting changed, a purchase completed (the product, not your payment details).
- Error reports: the error message and where in the game's code it happened.
- Device details: app version, iOS version and device model.
- A random install ID created by the game, so events from one install can be grouped. It is not linked to you, your Apple ID or your device's advertising identifier, and it changes if you reinstall the game.
IP addresses are discarded when the data arrives, and no location is stored.
Turning it off
Open Settings (gear icon) and set SHARE DATA to OFF. The game then sends nothing and deletes any events it had not sent yet.
Data stored on your device
Your credits, unlocked items, settings and best times are saved on your device only. They never leave it, and deleting the game deletes them.
In-app purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, Apple ID or payment details. Apple's privacy policy applies to purchases: apple.com/legal/privacy.
Children
The game collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
